A faggot is not something that has been humanized in the news or in the media. A faggot is a sissy, a queer, a pussy, a bitch. A faggot is not a man. The word ‘faggot’ isn’t something that is frowned upon in some social circles. For some people it has become such a regular part of their vernacular, they don’t even realize they say it anymore. The power of speech has an unbelievable and undeniable toll on all those who hear it and that is how young boys are socialized to think that manliness is the only way. A young gay boy would rather hide in the closet and dress and act in a certain way, rather than be called a faggot. Many people would do anything rather than be called a faggot.
